- Display differences: Product photos, videos and digital visualisations on our website, WhatsApp or emails are for reference only. Actual appearance may differ due to lighting, screen settings and batch variations.
- Sample limitations: Small samples or photos cannot represent the full variation seen in complete slabs or installed areas.
- Technical properties: Specifications such as thickness, finish, approximate size and recommended usage are provided to the best of our knowledge but should be verified with your architect, contractor or engineer based on site conditions.
Before finalising a purchase, we strongly recommend that you review slab photos, videos or visit our warehouse wherever possible.
5. Pricing, Quotations & Taxes
Prices for our products are generally provided through customised quotations based on material, quantity, finish, selection and delivery location. Unless otherwise stated:
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice until an order is confirmed in writing.
- Taxes such as GST and other applicable charges will be mentioned separately in the quotation or invoice as per prevailing law.
- Transport, unloading, cutting, installation and polishing charges are usually not included, unless clearly specified.
Any promotional prices or offers displayed on our website, Google Merchant listings or digital campaigns are indicative and subject to availability and confirmation.
6. Orders, Advance & Confirmation
An enquiry or quotation does not create a binding contract. An order is considered confirmed only when:
- You approve the quotation and slab selection (where applicable) in writing (WhatsApp / email).
- We confirm availability of material and lot numbers.
- Required advance payment is received in our designated bank account or via an agreed mode.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders (with appropriate refund if an advance is paid) in cases such as unavailability of material, pricing errors or suspected misuse.
7. Payments & Payment Terms
Payment terms (advance percentage, balance before dispatch, etc.) will be mentioned in your quotation or pro-forma invoice. You agree to pay as per the agreed schedule. Delayed payments may:
- Delay dispatch and delivery timelines.
- Lead to change in availability or pricing of specific lots.
- Result in storage or holding charges in certain cases (as communicated by us).
We do not encourage cash transactions above thresholds permitted by law. Official receipts will be issued for accepted payments.
8. Shipping, Delivery & Risk
We can assist with arranging transport through third-party logistics providers for delivery across India. Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- Dispatch timelines: Approximate dispatch timelines are shared at the time of order. These are estimates and may vary due to production, packing, transport availability or factors beyond our control.
- Risk transfer: Risk in the goods typically passes to you once material is handed over to the transporter or leaves our warehouse, depending on the agreed Incoterms or trade understanding.
- Unloading & handling: Unloading, moving and installation at site are usually the responsibility of the buyer and their appointed contractor. Stone is heavy and fragile; proper equipment and skilled labour are essential.
9. Inspection, Shortages & Complaints
We follow quality checks and share slab photos / videos to minimise surprises. On delivery:
- Please inspect crates and slabs at the earliest opportunity, ideally at the time of unloading.
- Any visible damage to crates or obvious breakage should be noted on the transporter’s receipt and photographed.
- Any claims regarding shortages, major breakage or mismatch with agreed lot should be reported to us in writing (WhatsApp / email) with photos and details within a reasonable time, generally within 48 hours of delivery.
We will review each case carefully. Remedies may include replacement (where feasible), partial credit or other mutually agreed solutions. Normal natural variation in stone or minor edge chipping that can be rectified during fabrication will not typically qualify as a defect.
10. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Since stone materials are heavy, customised and often reserved per project, our ability to accept cancellations or returns is limited.
- Before processing: Orders may sometimes be cancelled before cutting / packing begins, subject to our written approval. In such cases, a portion of the advance may be adjusted towards administrative or holding costs.
- After processing or dispatch: Once slabs are cut, processed, polished, packed or dispatched, cancellations and returns are generally not accepted.
- Special/custom orders: Custom thickness, finishes, cut-to-size pieces, book-matching and rare/exotic lots are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless there is a clear and proven error on our side.
Any exception or goodwill adjustment will be at our sole discretion and subject to mutual written agreement.
11. Product Performance & Warranty Disclaimer
Stone is a natural or engineered material that requires proper handling, installation and maintenance. While we provide general guidance, we do not control how the material is used at site.
- We do not provide any express or implied warranty regarding performance, lifespan, stain resistance or fitness for a particular purpose, beyond what may be clearly stated in writing for specific products.
- Installation methods, sub-floor quality, adhesives, sealers, maintenance products and site conditions significantly affect the final result and longevity.
- The responsibility for correct installation, sealing, polishing and maintenance rests with the buyer and their appointed contractor / applicator.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except where expressly required by applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stone Paradigm Export and its owners, partners, employees and agents shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, contracts, goodwill or business opportunities.
- Any issues arising from installation methods, improper handling, incorrect application or lack of maintenance.
Our total liability for any claim related to the supply of material shall not exceed the net invoice value of the specific goods that gave rise to the claim.
